To help protect against
viruses it is recommended that you purchase and install
anti-virus
software — available from all PC retailers. Some ISP’s
provide anti-virus software free of charge when you buy your broadband
package.
Once a virus is found on your computer, it must be totally eliminated
at its source. After the virus is eliminated, usually by virus killing
software, the entire system must be scanned and examined carefully
to make sure that the virus did not spread to other parts of the computer
system.
