The quickest way to find something on the internet is to use a ‘search engine’ website. Popular search engine websites include www.google.co.uk, www.yahoo.co.uk, www.altavista.co.uk and www.lycos.co.uk. Visit any of these and enter the word or phrase that you want to find out more about into the search box and press the ‘return’ button on your computer. You will then be presented with a list of websites that contain the phrase or subject you are looking for, for you to read through.
