BROADBAND GUIDE
WHAT IS BROADBAND? GETTING STARTED USING BROADBAND GLOSSARY
WHAT WOULD I USE BROADBAND FOR?
Being faster (available up to 40 times faster from some ISPs) than dial up connections, broadband allows you to do all the things you can with a normal internet connection and more - only much quicker. You use it to send and receive emails in an instant, view webpages and download files (including music and films). You are also able to use the telephone and some fax machines at the same time.
